About Mirna
Hi,
I am Mirna, and it is great to meet you :)
First thing that you need to know about me is that I love Mondays. I love them because they are a new beginning, they make me feel the potential of the new week, new day to learn, reflect, choose my focus for the week. It is the day to reconnect with people (after an adventurous or cozy but in each case disconnected weekend), but also to reconnect with my priorities and with what I wish to create in that week and in my life.
I wish everyone would love Mondays. I had periods in my life when I loved Mondays, and periods when I found them a bit of a drag. Periods when I was excited about my work (and my life), and moments when that satisfaction was diminished, and that clearly told me that I need to change something.
Some of the changes were big - like leaving my job at Cisco after 10 years and turning my career in totally different directions. Some were much smaller - like making lists of things that make me happy (at work and in life) and seeing how to implement those more, or connecting more with colleagues at work, or developing a new skill, or finding a new mini-project to satisfy some side of me that needed more, or working with my own attitude, perspective and focus. The point is - most of my working days in the past 10+ years were happy, and they were not so accidentally, but by design.
Wherever you are with your work, I would love to work with you to design how to infuse your work days with a bit more happiness, motivation and satisfaction.
To make this happen, I am happy to draw on my deep knowledge of positive psychology (I hold a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge), ten years of experience as a trainer and six as a coach, and 10+ years of happy work (corporate, NGO and freelancing) and rich life experience. And most importantly, my strong motivation to support you in making this happen.
I hope you will join me at "Happiness at Work" workshop, so we can develop some great new ideas and strategies together.
